Boise beat Riverside at Basque Block Field, eking out a 2-1 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Francisco Cohen, who earned player of the game honors. The Hawks bumped their record to 79-71 with this latest triumph.

The Hawks got a big at-bat from first baseman José Padilla. For the game, Padilla went 2-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season gave Boise a 2-0 lead.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Padilla.
