Sandy Springs Spartans starter Chris Tattrie turned in a top-notch performance against the DeKalb Cornhuskers at The Coliseum. The result was a win for the Spartans, 4-1. The Spartans raised their record to 72-77.

Hirofumi Ishibashi, who is tied for 9th in the RHL with a .311 batting average, helped out the Sandy Springs cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the right fielder went 2-3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Ishibashi. "And not try to do too much."
