Victory Pushes Cornhuskers Record to 75-71
|
Matt McDade made an impact in the 8-4 DeKalb win over San Antonio. McDade, who was drafted in the three round of the 2033 draft, went 2-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The second-place Storm Troopers have lost 4 straight games.
McDade had a key at-bat for DeKalb early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run double. It was his 18th double of the season and gave DeKalb an early 2-0 lead.
"It feels good to get this one," McDade told the DeKalb Daily.
