Rock River pitcher Clement Bowden did his part in helping his team beat the Cincinnati Snaps, 2-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Alonso Esquivel earned his 20th save in 24 chances. The first-place Rats now have a 6-game winning streak.
The Rats got a big at-bat from designated hitter Ben Eisner. For the game, Eisner went 3-4 with 2 doubles. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 10th double of the season gave Rock River a 2-1 lead.
