Victory Pushes Shamrocks Record to 89-58
|
Yasusaburo Sato made an impact in the 6-2 Pacifica win over Boise. Sato went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Pacifica reliever Tony Torres got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Cristo Cruz was tagged with the loss. Jorge Rivera, credited with the save, is now 4 for 6 in save opportunities.
Sato had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Shamrocks went on to win.
"I like our moxie," said Shamrocks manager Joe Leftwich.
Pacifica goes to 89-58. The win puts them 12 games up in their division.
