Cornhuskers Win at Youngstown, 9-5
With right fielder Matt McDade leading the charge, the DeKalb Cornhuskers defeated the Youngstown Tune-Ups, 9-5, at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. McDade, who was drafted in the three round of the 2033 draft, was 1 for 1 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Manny López notched his 19th save in 19 chances. The Cornhuskers bumped their record to 72-71 with this latest triumph.

McDade had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the eighth inning, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Cornhuskers went on to win.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," McDade told the DeKalb Daily.
