Silicon Valley and DeKalb duked it out at The Corn Crib and the Hackers came out victorious.

Silicon Valley Hackers starter Tomohito Ihara turned in a sterling performance against the DeKalb Cornhuskers, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. Quiang Tu, credited with the save, is now 46 for 48 in save opportunities.

Lance Vallery, who is tied for 10th in the CLL in triples with 5, aided the Silicon Valley cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the first. For the game, the third baseman went 1 for 4.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Silicon Valley manager Bob Miller said.

Silicon Valley has now won 3 in a row.
