It was a fun time at The Field at Richmond, where the Spokane Bulldogs and Topeka Predators tangled.
Jorge Perez helped his team muscle past the Spokane Bulldogs, 7-3. In the game, the Topeka left fielder was 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. Tomas Fuentes converted his 5th save in 9 tries.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the seventh inning, but Tomas Fuentes didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Spokane trailing 5-3, Fuentes retired Jorge Santoyo to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Fuentes, with a wink.
The Predators now have a mark of 60-77.
