Mike Ray did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Youngstown Tune-Ups from losing, 7-6, to the Biloxi Bullets at The Sand Dune. Ray went 1 for 2 with 3 walks. He scored 2 runs. Doug Durham earned his 24th save in 30 chances. Biloxi now sits at 50-83, while Youngstown falls to 61-72.

Had Tim Mathews not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Mathews hit a run-scoring double. That made the score 7-6, in favor of the Bullets.

"We'll take this win and move on," said Mathews.
