Streaking Rats Win Another One
|
The Rock River Rats got a stellar performance from pitcher Pat Beckett, who handcuffed the Topeka offense en route to a 6-0 win at The Rat Hole. The Rats, now 80-53, have won 6 in a row.
Nelson Middleton, who was drafted in the three round of the 2028 draft, aided the Rock River cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the first. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI.
"I thought we played a nice game," Middleton told the Rock River Gazette. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
