Ruidoso Osos starter Eduardo Muniz turned in an exceptional performance against the Silicon Valley Hackers at Bear Cave, resulting in a Ruidoso win, 3-0. The winning pitcher was Muniz, now 8-4. He tossed 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 5. Allen Blair was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 8 of 11 save opportunities.

Jasper Boland, who is tied for 4th in the CLL in triples with 6, aided the Ruidoso cause with a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder was 1-4 with a triple.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Boland said.

The Osos bumped their record to 73-61 with this latest triumph.
