Black Bears Edge Past Rams, 5-4
The Frisco Rams got a superb performance from second baseman Lyle Wolochow, but the Fraser Valley Black Bears still won the game, 5-4. Wolochow was named the player of the game despite the loss. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Jorge Rodríguez picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 6-0. Cameron Sullivan was tagged with the loss. The Black Bears bumped their record to 76-55 with this latest triumph.

The Black Bears got a big at-bat from first baseman Shimpei Fujita. For the game, Fujita went 2 for 6 with a double. In the top of the 12th, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 94th hit of the season gave Fraser Valley a 5-4 lead.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Fujita told reporters after the game.
