The Topeka Predators powered past the Ruidoso Osos, 10-4, at Bear Cave. Tomás Correa was 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 4 runs, to lead the charge. Mario Michaca picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-1. Tommy Pucher was tagged with the loss.

In the top of the first, Correa pounced on a 0-2 cutter from Tommy Pucher and hit a solo home run. It put Topeka on top, 1-0.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Correa told reporters after the game.

Topeka now sits at 59-73, while Ruidoso falls to 72-61.
