Pacifica turned a good effort from starter Yeong-sam Yi into a win over the DeKalb Cornhuskers at The Corn Crib. The final score was 1-0. Pacifica leads the Cory Lidle League Gene Mauch Division by 10 games.

The Shamrocks got a big at-bat from designated hitter Qing-nian Hsu. For the game, Hsu went 1-4 with a double. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave Pacifica a 1-0 lead.

Hsu told a Pacifica Daily reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
