Snaps Deal Red Bulls Painful Loss
The Snaps had to overcome a fine performance from Riverside pitcher Masayoshi Tanaka to grab a 4-3 win at The Studio. Tanaka allowed 2 earned runs over 9 innings. The win was credited to Hideyoshi Kawamura in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Daryl Billyard took the loss. Cincinnati is 54-76 and Riverside, with the loss, 60-68.

Cincinnati won the game in the bottom of the 15th inning. With no outs and Daryl Billyard on the mound for Riverside, right fielder Greg Bova hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Snaps fans to their feet.

Bova told a Cincinnati Gazette reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
