Maple Marauders starter Umarah Abdul-Quddus was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Las Vegas Aces, 7-3. The wins continue to add up for Maple, with the latest making it 8 in a row.

Gerard Leeder, who is on pace to hit 54 home runs this season, aided the Maple cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the second baseman was 2 for 5 with 2 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Leeder.
