The Carson City Mustang eked out a 4-3 win versus the Marysville Monarchs at Cowboys Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Jack Thompson, who captured player of the game honors. Carson City reliever Daladhisvara Harishandra picked up the win, upping his record to 4-1. Toshikazu Yokoyama absorbed the loss. Carson City has now won 3 in a row.

Shino Kikuchi was the walk-off hero for Carson City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mustang right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Kikuchi said after the game.
