The DeKalb Cornhuskers sent the home crowd home smiling from The Corn Crib.

The Cornhuskers had to overcome a fine performance from Pacifica pitcher Graham Bennett to grab a 4-3 win at The Corn Crib. Bennett allowed no earned runs over 5.2 innings. The Cornhuskers bumped their record to 65-63 with this latest triumph.

The Cornhuskers got a big at-bat from designated hitter Leon Castellanos. For the game, Castellanos was 2 for 5 with 2 singles and a walk. In the bottom of the 11th, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 4th hit of the season gave DeKalb a 4-3 lead.

"Feels good to get the job done," Castellanos said after the game.
