Hackers Walk Off with Win
|
Silicon Valley Hackers starter Tomohito Ihara turned in an exceptional performance against the Frisco Rams at San Jose Municipal Stadium, resulting in a Silicon Valley win, 2-1. The Hackers bumped their record to 73-53 with this latest triumph.
John Farley was the walk-off hero for Silicon Valley. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Hackers first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"This place was jumping at the end," Farley said.
