The Carson City Mustang topped the Topeka Predators, 11-4, in Roy Halladay League action at Cowboys Stadium. The player of the game was Carson City left fielder Lee Cong. Iemitsu Shiroi got credit for the win, improving to 6-10. He allowed 3 runs on 9 hits in 6.2 innings. The Mustang raised their record to 59-67.

Cong contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Carson City in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Cong took a changeup from Noah Zwicker and stroked the home run to left. His 16th home run of the season allowed the Mustang to leap in front, 4-2.

"I felt good up there," said Cong. "I saw the ball well."
