Grays Clip Armada in Tight Contest

The Georgia Grays defeated the Quebec Armada, 5-2, at Lucky 7 Ballpark. Georgia third baseman Tony Martinez was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 2-2 with a home run, a double, and a walk. Georgia reliever Dave Munier picked up the win to move to 4-2. Eduardo Marino suffered the loss. The Grays now own a record of 20-25.
The Grays got a big at-bat from left fielder Lee Brooks. For the game, Brooks was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the top of the eighth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Georgia a 5-1 lead.
"It feels good to get this one," Brooks told the Georgia Daily News.
