Long Island pitcher Julio Ochoa did his part in helping his team beat the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 3-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Ducks bumped their record to 61-61 with this latest triumph.

Jonathan Romero was a key contributor to the win for the Ducks. In the top of the fifth with no one out, the light-hitting right fielder stroked a single to right. He went 1-5.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Romero said after the game.
