In a tight contest at Basque Block Field, the Boise Hawks edged the Youngstown Tune-Ups by the score of 6-5. Boise shortstop Matthew Bauer, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. Reliever Jesús Ordóńez picked up the win. His record improves to 4-5. Jun Zhou took the loss. The Hawks bumped their record to 67-56 with this latest triumph.

Alvaro Colon was the walk-off hero for Boise. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Hawks pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Bauer said after the game.
