Beehive Jolt Snaps with Late Rally

Bob Campos never let the Snaps get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his sinker, to pitch the Beehive to a 3-1 win. Takayuki Tominaga notched his 3rd save in 3 chances. The Beehive saw their win-loss record go to 44-73. At the same time, the Snaps fell to 52-71.
Aaron Richters contributed to the Madison win with a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth. For the game, the right fielder had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"Bob's tempo and rhythm were good," said Beehive manager Yataro Hamada. "He was the key to us winning."
