The Biloxi Bullets defeated the Marysville Monarchs, 17-2. Earning player of the game honors was designated hitter Jesus Plana, who was 4-5 with a double, 3 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Biloxi reliever Máximo Larreta was credited with the win, to go to 3-5. Ryan Le Carré took the loss for Marysville. The Bullets raised their record to 42-76.
Plana had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fourth, when he hit a bases-clearing double. The Bullets went on to win.
"That game had disaster written all over it," said Marysville skipper Colin St. John. "I could feel it."
