The Phoenix Lights beat the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats, 4-3, at Bloomfield Road. The Lights got a fine performance from second baseman Hyun-hi Oh, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The second-place Lights have won 4 straight.

The Lights got a big at-bat from right fielder Adam Kuhar. For the game, Kuhar went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the eighth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Phoenix a 4-3 lead.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Buzzard's Bay skipper Enrique Ramírez.
