Palethorpe Delivers Walk-Off Win for Aces
The Las Vegas Aces stopped the New England Colonials, 9-8, at Sin City Stadium. The Aces got a big game from Doug White, who went 3 for 6 with 2 home runs, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 4 times and driving in 3. Las Vegas reliever Javier Colón picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Ian Burrell shouldered the loss. Las Vegas is now riding a 3-game win streak.

The Aces beat the Colonials in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single Zachary Palethorpe produced in the bottom of the 17th. Batting against New England pitcher Ian Burrell, Palethorpe gave his team a 9-8 lead when he hit a walk-off run-scoring single.

"I know we have our doubters," said New England manager Todd Belcher. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
