Bullets Lose, 5-2, at Mitts Fieldhouse

The Marysville Monarchs topped the Biloxi Bullets, 5-2, in Cory Lidle League action at Mitts Fieldhouse. The player of the game was Marysville pitcher Ryokan Endo. Curt Woods notched his 1st save in 5 chances. The 5th-place Monarchs improved to 53-65.
The Monarchs got a big at-bat from second baseman Adrian Sparks. For the game, Sparks was 2-4 with a triple and a double. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 5th triple of the season gave Marysville a 1-0 lead.
"Feels good to get the job done," Endo said after the game.
