Mitts Fieldhouse was the site of a competitive game between the Marysville Monarchs and Biloxi Bullets.

The Bullets faced a stiff challenge from Marysville pitcher Eddy Johnston, but persevered to claim a win at Mitts Fieldhouse. The final score was 2-1. Johnston went 5 innings and allowed no earned runs. Biloxi reliever Doug Durham got the win, raising his record to 2-7. Toshikazu Yokoyama was tagged with the loss. José Vásquez was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 2 of 3 save opportunities.

Kazuki Ito made it 2-1, Biloxi, in the top of the 12th when he reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. It was a big at-bat in the Bullets win.

Ito attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
