Phoenix played host to Pacifica at the friendly confines of UFO Field.

Phoenix catcher Francisco Jacobo was a significant contributor in his team's 13-8 triumph over the Pacifica Shamrocks. He was 2-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Phoenix. Phoenix reliever Tsuneyo Kichikawa picked up the win to move to 2-1. Owen Kay suffered the loss.

Jacobo had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Lights went on to win.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Jacobo.

The Lights bumped their record to 61-56 with this latest triumph.
