Ducks Roll to 8-3 Win Over Cornhuskers
|
Long Island played host to DeKalb at the friendly confines of Long Island Stadium.
Steve Woods was instrumental in his team's 8-3 triumph over the DeKalb Cornhuskers. The designated hitter was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Long Island Ducks. Julio Ochoa, credited with the win, is now 1-1. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 6.1 innings.
