Frisco and Youngstown put this game in the books despite some rain.

Yoriyuki Tanaka led Frisco to a triumph over Youngstown. The final score was 13-6. The designated hitter went 3 for 5, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 2 runs and added 5 RBI. Frisco reliever Ray Murray picked up the win, bumping his record to 10-1. Chion Hatanaka was collared with the loss.

Tanaka had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the third inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Rams went on to win.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Tanaka said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
