The Cincinnati Snaps knocked off the Wichita Wolverines, 5-2, at Howling Park. Gabe Hershberger, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Cincinnati won. The designated hitter was 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs. The Snaps, at 46-68, sit in 5th place in the Roy Halladay League Jim Leyland Division.
Adam Champagne aided the Cincinnati cause with a 2-run double in the top of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI.
