Fujita Slugs Black Bears to 7-5 Win
|
Shimpei Fujita made an impact in the 7-5 Fraser Valley win over DeKalb. Fujita, who is tied for 10th in the RHL with a .516 slugging percentage, was 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Adam Andersen, credited with the win, is now 3-3. He allowed 3 runs on 8 hits in 6 innings. Fraser Valley now has a 4-game win streak.
Justin Ray aided the Fraser Valley cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
