Multi-HR Game for Kug in 5-2 Win
|
Tal-hun Kug left his imprint on the 5-2 Boise win against the Frisco Rams. Kug, who is tied for 8th in the CLL in doubles with 23, was 3 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. Boise has now won 3 in a row.
Kug had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a first pitch fastball from Nathan Diprose, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Hawks a 5-2 lead. It was the 10th home run of the year for Kug.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Kug told reporters after the game.
