Hellcats Continue Skid Thanks to Cutter, Shamrocks
|
The Pacifica Shamrocks bested the Jacksonville Hellcats by a score of 7-3, with shortstop Ian Cutter getting the main credit. On the day, Cutter was 3-5 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5 for the Shamrocks. The winner was Pacifica reliever Miguel Torres, now 5-0. The loser was Len Adkins. Jacksonville has now lost 4 in a row.
Cutter had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a bases-clearing triple. The Shamrocks went on to win.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Pacifica manager Joe Leftwich.
