The Seattle Sasquatch scored a 5-4 win versus the So Cal Republic at Sick's Stadium. Seattle designated hitter Dino De Buono nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Seattle reliever Hiroshi Nagasawa got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Lloyd Hunt was tagged with the loss. Hisataro Sato picked up the save for Seattle, his 3rd of the year.

Seattle grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the eighth, when De Buono, who is rated as the 70th best prospect by BNN, hit a solo home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Sasquatch out in front, 5-4.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," De Buono told the Seattle Observer.

Seattle, now 3-2, has gotten their season off to a good start.
