The Phoenix Lights got a strong performance from pitcher Bartolo Urbina, who stymied the Riverside offense en route to a 3-2 win at Red Bull Stadium. Nobuhiko Newton converted his 9th save in 11 tries. The Red Bulls have now dropped 8 straight.

The Lights got a big at-bat from shortstop Boys Blok. For the game, Blok was 1-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season gave Phoenix a 2-0 lead.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Blok.
