Snaps Win at Fraser Valley, 11-7
|
With designated hitter Gabe Hershberger leading the charge, the Cincinnati Snaps defeated the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 11-7, at The Stetson Bowl. Hershberger was 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Bob Torley notched his 1st save in 2 chances. The Snaps are now 44-66, while the Black Bears fall to 60-47.
Cincinnati grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Hershberger hit a 3-run home run. His 4th home run of the season put the Snaps out in front, 7-4.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Cincinnati manager António Álvarez.
