Bullets Roll to 8-1 Win Over Hellcats
|
Biloxi Bullets starter Frank Justiniano kept the Jacksonville Hellcats hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 8-1 win. Justiniano, now 8-5, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. Even with the win, the Bullets have a dismal 37-69 record.
The Bullets got a big at-bat from shortstop Darren Michels. For the game, Michels went 2-5 with 2 singles. In the top of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 55th hit of the season gave Biloxi a 2-1 lead.
"We did a lot of things right," said Justiniano.
