Black Bears Solve Snaps, 6-2
|
Benefiting from Dave Cano's productive game, the Fraser Valley Black Bears downed the Cincinnati Snaps, 6-2. Cano went 1-2 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Black Bears. Fraser Valley reliever Tyrone Mason picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Cisco Núñez was saddled with the loss. The Black Bears bumped their record to 60-46 with this latest triumph.
Cano had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Black Bears went on to win.
"We looked pretty good up and down," said Fraser Valley manager Casey Ramey.
