Middleton Helps Rats Run Win Streak to 3
|
The Rock River Rats reigned over the Madison Beehive in damp conditions at The Hive.
Nelson Middleton left his imprint on the 5-2 Rock River win against the Madison Beehive. Middleton, who was drafted in the three round of the 2028 draft, went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. Alonso Esquivel, credited with the save, is now 9 for 12 in save opportunities.
Nelson Marcial hit a run-scoring double off J.J. Cassidy in the top of the first, which put the Rats in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Marcial had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.
