Bullets Lose to Hellcats in Walk Off
Biloxi shortstop Darren Michels had a good game, even if his team did not. The Bullets dropped a 7-6 decision to Jacksonville at Hellcats Park. Michels hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Jacksonville reliever Gabriel Martínez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Paolo Jens was saddled with the loss. The Hellcats move to 38-68 with the win, while the Bullets drop to 36-69.

The Hellcats got a big at-bat from second baseman Jean-Yves Girard. For the game, Girard went 1-6 with a hit by pitch. In the bottom of the 16th, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 30th hit of the season gave Jacksonville a 7-6 lead.

"It was a solid team effort," said Girard after the game.
