Larry Franzen of the Mustang was unstoppable in today's 15-3 victory over the Spokane Bulldogs at Cowboys Stadium. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats.

"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Carson City second baseman after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will."

Larry Franzen grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
