The Maple Marauders topped the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 8-2, with center fielder Andreas Kubel playing a big role. Kubel slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Marauders in the win. Khurshid Durrani got credit for the win, improving to 4-2. He allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 8 innings. Maple now has a 5-game win streak.

Kubel had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Marauders went on to win.
