Fans at The Coliseum were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Sandy Springs Spartans take on the Madison Beehive.
Madison first baseman Ji-hoon Park made his presence felt in the 8-5 Beehive triumph over the Sandy Springs Spartans. Park was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Bob Campos was the winner. Over 8.2 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 6 hits, with 6 walks and 4 strikeouts.
