Victory Over Bullets Takes Silicon Valley to 61-40
|
Getting a good performance from right fielder Joe Dolinger, the Silicon Valley Hackers defeated the Biloxi Bullets, 5-3. Dolinger went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Hackers. Silicon Valley reliever Jose Arguinzoni picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Frank Justiniano took the loss. Terry Yarrigle notched his 1st save in 1 chances.
Dolinger came through with some timely hitting for Silicon Valley. With the score 1-1 in the bottom of the third and one down, Dolinger hit a 1-1 cutter for a 3-run home run. His 7th home run of the season made it 4-1, Silicon Valley.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Dolinger.
The Bullets, now 35-66, have lost 9 straight.
