Hawks Come Back Late to Clip Black Bears
The Boise Hawks got a strong performance from pitcher Mauro Vázquez, who stymied the Fraser Valley offense en route to a 1-0 win at Basque Block Field. The Hawks bumped their record to 56-47 with this latest triumph.

Andrew MacPartland was the walk-off hero for Boise. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Hawks pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Boise manager Tom Becker.
