Colonials Come Up Short at Las Vegas
Benefiting from Haruki Yoshino's productive game, the Las Vegas Aces downed the New England Colonials, 3-2. Yoshino was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk for the Aces. Amaui Mahi'ai got credit for the save for Las Vegas. It was his 3rd of the year. Even with the win, the Aces have a dismal 13-29 record.

Jorge Rodríguez helped out the Las Vegas cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the shortstop drew 1 walk.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Las Vegas manager Chris Schell said.
