The Red Bulls faced a stiff challenge from DeKalb pitcher Mark Smith, but persevered to claim a win at The Corn Crib. The final score was 5-2. Smith went 5.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. Riverside now sits in 4th place in the Cory Lidle League Lou Piniella League at 49-50.

The Red Bulls got a big at-bat from catcher Hiroshige Inouye. For the game, Inouye went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Riverside a 3-0 lead.
